Common problems

Does this sound familiar?

Many of these can be fixed without a full rebuild.

  • Your website looks out of date

Customers compare you with competitors, and an outdated site can cost you the job.

    Redesign it
  • Your contact form is not working

Messages never arrive, land in spam or come in without a phone number.

    Fix the form
  • It is hard to use on a phone

Small text, overlapping buttons and menus that will not open can send mobile visitors away.

    Fix it for mobile
  • You type the same details again and again

From email to spreadsheet to invoice to calendar, by hand, every day.

    Automate it
  • Inquiries slip through the cracks

Leads are spread across email, texts and voicemail, with no single list to work from.

    Organize your leads
  • Your tools do not talk to each other

Your form, CRM, spreadsheet and email each hold different information.

    Connect them

How it works

Four simple steps

You get a written plan and price before any work begins.

Start your request
  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

Fill in the short form and describe the problem in your own words. We ask the technical questions.

    About three minutes

  2. 02

    We talk it through

We reply with questions and ideas. If it makes sense to go ahead, you get a written plan with the work, price and timing.

A reply usually within one business day

  3. 03

    We build it

Work is done in stages with a preview link, so you see progress and give feedback as we go.

    Timeline agreed up front

  4. 04

    Launch and support

We go live, test the forms and automations we built on the real site, and hand over notes.

Ongoing support if you want it

Concept work

See what we build

Three short demonstrations: a website designed to turn visitors into bookings, and two automations that answer and follow up for you.

Concept builds using a sample business and sample data.

Concept 01: Website

A home-service website that wins the call

A concept for a sample heating company. Someone with a broken furnace wants to know one thing: how soon can you get here? This page answers that first, and lets them book in three taps.

Design decisions

  1. The headline names the problem and the timeframe.
  2. Booking sits next to the phone number, for people who prefer not to call.
  3. Prices, arrival times and the warranty are shown up front.
  4. On a phone, Call and Book stay pinned within thumb reach.

Concept 02: Automation

Quote requests that handle themselves

As soon as the form is sent, the request is checked, saved and sent to the owner by text. The customer gets a reply before they close the page. Nobody copies anything by hand.

Talk to us about automation

What it does for you

  1. Filters out spam and duplicates
  2. Saves leads in one place
  3. Texts you while the customer is still deciding
  4. Sends the customer an automatic reply, even after hours

Concept 03: Follow-up

Follow-up that stops when the customer replies

Quotes often go quiet because people get busy. A short, friendly check-in goes out on its own. When the customer replies, the remaining reminders are cancelled automatically.

How it works

  1. Sent from your own inbox, in your own words
  2. You choose the timing of every step
  3. Stops the moment the customer replies

Questions

Common questions

Have another question? Add it to your request and we will answer it in our reply.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the work, because a form repair and a full website are very different jobs. We talk through what you need first. If you decide to go ahead, the price is agreed in writing before any work starts, and anything outside that scope is agreed before we do it.

How long does a project take?

Small fixes, such as a broken form or a mobile layout problem, often take a few days. A small business website usually takes a couple of weeks. Automation work depends on how many systems are involved. These are typical ranges, not commitments. Your proposal sets out the timeline for your project, and we let you know early if it needs to change.

Can you fix my current website instead of rebuilding it?

Often, yes. Many sites only need a speed improvement, a mobile fix and a working contact form. We review what you have and recommend the option we believe offers better value.

Which platforms do you work with?

New sites are built on fast, modern technology that is usually inexpensive to host. For existing sites we can work with many common platforms, such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and Shopify. If we think a platform cannot do what you need, we tell you early and suggest an alternative.

What can you automate?

The repetitive work around customer inquiries. That includes saving form submissions to a CRM or spreadsheet, alerting you right away, sending confirmations and reminders, sorting requests by service and confirming bookings. Tasks you do the same way every week are often good candidates.

Will it work with the tools I already use?

Often, yes. Many common email, spreadsheet, CRM, calendar, form, invoicing and messaging tools can be connected, depending on what each tool allows. We check your tools before anything is agreed.

Is there government support for AI adoption or digital modernization?

Sometimes. Governments in Canada run programs that can help businesses adopt new technology, including AI. Some are grants, which do not have to be repaid. Others are loans or other financing, which do. Programs, eligibility and intake dates change often, so a good place to start is the Government of Canada's Business Benefits Finder. Cypressa is not affiliated with any government program and does not prepare funding applications. If a program asks for a project description or a supplier quote, our written proposal sets out the scope, price and timeline.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes, if you want it. Support can be a monthly arrangement for updates and monitoring, or hourly help when you need it. The scope, response times and price of any support are set out in writing.

Who owns the website when it is finished?

Ownership is set out in your project agreement. Our usual approach is to register your domain and hosting accounts in your name and to transfer the work we create for you once the project is paid in full. Some parts, such as themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and third-party services, are licensed rather than owned and stay subject to their own terms.
